I was at gun show in Raleigh last weekend to purchase a pistol. I sold all of my guns last year due to a financial bump in the road. Now I was ready to be armed again, and was determined to buy another Sig, the striker fired P320 that everyone has been raving about. I'd heard so many good things about it, but no matter how many different sizes I tried, I just couldn't find one that felt right in my hand.
That's when I saw an FN FNS-40 at one of the tables. I knew from the moment I held it that it was the right pistol for me. Double stacked, but felt and pointed just like my trusted single stack Sig P6. And the build quality just oozed from it as well. How could this new gun, screaming quality, with 3 metal mags, be selling for less than $400? I don't know, but momma didn't raise a fool, so I snagged it without a second thought.
Now, hopefully the proof will be in the pudding once I get a chance to shoot it. My buddy from the country moved, so I'll have to head over to one of the indoor ranges this weekend. I'll post a thread with my results. In the meantime, looking forward to learning more about FN from all of you.
