I took a Sig sampler to the range today. Not all of them, but most of them. I had another good time. The stock on my 556 SBR started to come loose. I blame the idiot who installed it...me. I kept shooting it anyways. That thing throws brass with the fury of an angry wolverine. I didn't have to sweep up one casing. They shot all across the range. I had the place to myself, which is good. The brass would have been dinging other folks targets. It's a lot of fun though. I do need to properly sight in the PRO. Too lazy today. I also need to find the spacer and add it back to the Aimpoint. It's too damn low as it is. Sure it co-witnesses, but I had my head cocked sideways to use it.

Everything ran well, no hiccups. The P245 is such a sweet ride. I need more mags...I only have three. Also the SP2022 is a damn nice pistol for $399. I enjoyed the hell out of shooting it.

There's nothing better than having the range to yourself. I had my iPod plugged into my earmuffs and had a real groove going on. Anyone who was watching probably either laughed...or grew concerned, very concerned.

I suppose everyone is growing tired of these little range trip rundowns, so I'll try to limit them from now on.

Here's the pics:

I'm definitely not tired of the rundowns. Keep them coming Aki! Now, if you're too lazy to sight in that Pro, I can only imagine how lazy you are to clean 4 pistols and a rifle. LOL

Nice! Looks like a lot of fun! Reminds me I need to hit the range. If for nothing other than pistol practice. Reserving SCAR time for when I get my optic on it. :D

Yeah, I need a lot more of that. It's not at all like riding a bike. This, I've learned over the last few weeks.

Yeah, I'm a slug. I also hate cleaning guns. I know a lot of folks get to a state of Zen while doing it..not me. I do try to get to it within a few days.

That was one of the "good" things about being sick...no cleaning. They really don't get that dirty from posing in the mirror.

Those look like consistent groups, even for you 556.

How far was the target from you?
30 feet for the pistols (except the P245, that was 21 feet), 45 for the 556.

I have no illusions that I have a long way to go. But I'm having a good time goofin' around. Once I get that out of my system, I'll concentrate on a couple of pistols and try work on consistency.

Thanks, man. I did breakdown and clean the SP2022. It's my nightstand gun, so I guess it was probably a good idea. Still hated it though.

Nice collection of sigs, I plan on increasing mine for sure, I love them!
Thanks! I have a P226 MK25 and a P239 also (and a full sized 556). But I was already strapped like a pack mule so I left them behind. The MK25 got to come out and play a couple of weeks ago.

Dont be so hard on yourself; everyone has to start somewhere.
And to be honest, there are plenty more people who would struggle to even keep all their shots on the silhouette.
Besides, you are going out to the range way more often than I get to now; those groups will very quickly tighten up into very neat circular groups smaller than a ping pong ball.
