You will need to remove the windage screw and adjustable part of the rear sight blade completely (counter clockwise). Watch out for the spring. Punch out the metal pin about 3/4 of the way back from the front of the slide. This has to be punched out from a certain side, I don't remember. Then lift up at the back and slide forward after clearing the rear sight and t will come off
Sight Problem - Excessive Windage
I spent some time today at the range fine tuning my sights with different loads. I currently have it sighted in for SS198. To switch to AE 40 gr I have to come up 13 clicks. But the windage is the same for both loads.
My concern is that my rear sight is pretty far off to the right to be on target. I could actually use to go a few more clicks to the right to be dead on, but I don't want the rear sight hanging off the side of the gun!
Anyone else find they are way over to the right? Do you think this much adjustment is normal and within factory spec? Any reason to consider sending it back to FN?
