Sight pusher.

8099 Views 43 Replies 11 Participants Last post by  Hamfisted
After sighting in the RMR a couple of weeks ago I found that it doesnt co witness with the irons so I broke out the depth mics and found the front site is almost .050 to the right. Just about the exact amount my co witness is off.
Can anyone recommend a sight pusher that works well with the FNX.45 Tac?

So no problems marring the blade on the sight or anything?
I guess my next problem is finding one.
Appreciate the info everyone.
I have one of these: Fisher Solutions - Home - El Cajon, CA

Haven't used it on my Tac, but it works well and doesn't mar the sights (I did not put tape on the part that actually contacts the sight itself, but did use a couple of layers on the clamp portion and shimmed it with a bit of cardboard under the slide for my FNP 9)
I'll give this one a shot. The P500 is nowhere to be found.

There's enough clearance for the suppressor sights?
For future reference: They now sell an XL version for suppressor sights.
Fisher Solutions - New! XL Tool - El Cajon, CA
I emailed them earlier today and they said it is 0.200" taller than the standard blade.
Talked to them yesterday and the guy said it would definitely work. It's on it's way.
I'll let y'all know how it goes when I get it.
I just ordered the standard model $59.95, no tax and free shipping.
So you dont have suppressor sights?

I gotta ask,did you read the whole thread? It appears the standard model wont work for the front sights if you have suppressor sights.
I'd hate to see you have to send your purchase back.

It works well, just have to shim a bit (I used cardboard and tape). Kind of wish the XL was available when I ordered mine, but oh well. Might be able to have a buddy machine a taller blade.
I miss the access to all the machines since I retired. I never bought a special tool in my life up until now.
Oh well, being 46 and done is worth it and I still have a few buds who will let me use their stuff if it's to specialized.
