Classic blued steel S&W .38 special revolver. 6 million of these have been made, and the Military & Police/Model 10 is one of the most popular revolvers of all time, for good reason.

This one, a 10-5, was made in 1966 or thereabouts, has a round butt, a 2" barrel, a 9 pound 10 ounce DA trigger pull and a 3 pound 8 ounce SA trigger pull. First gun I ever got, first gun my (then girlfriend, now) wife ever shot (she nailed a pop can 3x in a row... I was in love).

An absolute joy to shoot. I think it's silly that S&W calls all their guns M&Ps now, EXCEPT the Model 10. LOL :D

Video overview/shoot for any interested:

Yeah, I should have put the OEM checkered wood grips on the M10 for the video. They're as new.

Thanks! I have a 37 as well (Airweight .38 Special, 5-shot J-frame).

Pardon the lint: I carried this for a couple of years before I got my LCP :D

Nice looking snubbies. I really need to pick one up, one of these days.
