Post a picture of some of the spent brass please. Thanks and congrats on your new pistol.
here you go. i will add that this pistol throws the empty brass a long ways. about 15-20 ft to the right at 45 degrees which is a good thing. made it a little hard to find brass in the grass though. also it seems to put a dent in the mouth of the case about 1/2 the time. i was shooting suppressed if it makes a difference in what you are looking for. i can send you these to examine as well if you like.

Ammo used was the new Fiochi Hyperformance 40gr tipped hollowpoint

Awesome. This might convince me to get an M&P
i will add that is was pretty awesome to shoot and stupid accurate. as someone who owns multiple FiveSevens and a couple PS90's, i really think S&W hit a homerun with this one. Factory threaded barrel, MOS, 22 round mags and all under $700. i have zero ragrets (pun intended) on this purchase.

Thanks for the pics. That's the best looking shoulders I've seen on fired brass from almost any 5.7x28 gun, suppressed or not. You may have convinced me to buy a S&W pistol for the first time in decades. Thanks again!
i had my doubts as well and i am not a S&W fan either. i can honestly tell you i am happy with this purchase and the gun fired like a dream. i like the tempo barrel design and suppressed it shoots very well. dead nuts accurate and hardly any felt recoil. follow up shots were quick and on target.

For those asking about dot mounts, I believe the 507k (not the larger 407/507c) is what it's set up for. The RMR and DPP footprints are too wide. I kinda want to get one and run it side by side with my stepfather's Five-Seven as a comparison.

Besides the dent in the mouth of the case, that brass looks really good. Appears to be very little if any shoulder movement. Would be interested in seeing brass from something that was loaded a little hotter than the hyperformance stuff, but those cases look promising for anyone that reloads the caliber. I have been debating on making a trip to my LGS to see if they can get one in for me, but have been holding off to see what the brass looks like, and to see if the pignose issue is a limited issue, or they all look like that.

How as cleaning the barrel system after shooting supressed? Based on the look of the cases, looks like there was still a decent amount of blowback coming into the chamber.

I was only able to find one company (Muddy River Tactical) offering an IWB holster for this gun. Anyone have any experience with this rig? I love my Stealthgear setup for my EDC but they do not offer one for the M&P 5.7.
it's only been out a few weeks. the holster folks need some time to get the patterns, gage interest, and manufacture holsters. most of the larger companies aren't going to invest if they can't sell the product. things take time.

I'm still interested in the S&W but recently I've seen 3 different postings on different forums where people shooting them suppressed have destroyed suppressors. The common belief was since the suppressor is mounted to the sleeve and not the rotating barrel that this may have been the cause. I'm still reading about them but wanted to get this out.
