I have been traveling a bit over the last week for business and haven't had much time to get in on the forums. For instance, I am in Phoenix right now for a training conference.

Home base is Memphis. Five different flights in as many days sucks.

But, I did get to stop by Scottsdale Gun Club earlier today and shoot their P90.

I stopped in there a couple of months ago and tried out that P90. Then I went home and bought a PS90. I was amazed how tight of pattern you could get on full auto. That is one nice club they have and nice people too.

I've heard some great things about that club. Just might have to take a tour the next time I'm in AZ this July. If you don't mind me asking, what was the rental cost to shoot the P90? 8)

the price is the downside, by far- $65 just to rent it, then $35 extra per mag.

yup, that's right- they don't even give you a full mag.

but it was fun, and may have been the only chance i ever have to shoot a P90.

maybe not money well spent- but i loved it. :shock:

Yup- it's a damn nice club. I was extremely impressed by the facility. Easily the nicest indoor gun club at which I have ever shot.

And the P90 does indeed group VERY nicely. I am not all that experienced at shooting subguns, and I had no problem making two nice little 4" groups at 20'.

beats the grouping of an MP5 easily.

Oh, that would be a hoot! That is expensive, but not bad for a one time experience at all. They have lots to choose from (looking at their website) I'm glad I don't live near there! :-D

in the old days we would just go out into the desert off I-10. It was wide open. Too much building in the West valley put a stop to that

SGC does kick ass. Too bad it's too far from me to make a membership worthwhile.

I'm going to try the P90 when I go back to have their smith SBR my PS90.

PS anyone that does make a stop there, don't forget to visit the other gun store just a few doors down. US Autoweapons. They have some nice stuff too.

a few comments on the P90-

- handled VERY nicely for what little i got to handle it.
- trigger was NOTICEABLY better than on my PS90- looks like i have some more break in to do. :?
- it was a USG model- the black ring sight is MUCH better than the white ring.
- almost NO recoil. awesome little gun!

i find beards are much easier when you just get off your butt and grow one and keep it. i also wash mine with head and shoulders to keep the itch away.
