I have a CMMG barrel on back-order. I may send this one to TROS down the line as a spare.So do you have to have the barrel re-crowned after doing this or do you just takes what you gets in the accuracy department?

It was the easiest way to get the old barrel off. I don't have access to a drill press to try to drill out the blind pin. The sawed barrel is still in perfect shape to be cut and threaded as a back up.Why cut the factory barrel if you have a new one coming ? Just asking,
