How many pieces to an M&P Shield......................................

Not exactly sure but it's a boat load of little pieces :-D

I'll post up the finished project in a week or two, that is if I can remember where everything goes.

If I left something out like that, I'd already be down about three or four parts. Cats and their damn "scavenger hunts".

Can't wait to see the finished project, Tal. You've been on a roll lately.

It's spring and when buddies saw the winter project I did for myself of coarse I hear, hey, how about doing mine. :-D

This is for my shooting partner and it's been something he's been thinking of doing for a while, started with just wanting NS's then maybe a little coloring the slide, now it's the whole damn thing
He went to Vegas and left me the pistol to surprise him, not his best move I think.

Nice!! Wha did you do to prep the polymer frame? I'm about to try my 1st Cerakot project, but it will be on a CZ83 so no polymer.

Very nice, how is the cerakote adhesion to the frame, holds up well?
Nice!! Wha did you do to prep the polymer frame?
It is a surface coating BUT it does very well, I could not tape off a few small sections and the cerakote did add enough to cause drag. I needed to remove some to fix the clearance issue and the cerakote was very stubborn in the areas, these areas were not prepped like the outside but still required effort to remove.

I degreased the polymer frame several times, lightly sanded it, cleaned the frame with alcohol, preheated it to remove any chemical's absorbed into it and lightly spayed several coats. Baked it for 2hrs @180.

I'm about to try my 1st Cerakot project, but it will be on a CZ83 so no polymer.
If you get a kit, just follow the inclosed directions and you'll be fine. PM me if you have any questions.
