Sorry folks no pics yet...but got to hold a 4" Walther PPQ M2 at the LGS and had to have it. Later same day a buddy calls me up, we head to his Uncle's house (FFL) and he made a deal with a shop for a lot of 5" PPQ M2. I couldn't pass up the great deal so jumped in that one as well.
Ordered six 17 round mags for it on midway.usa in anticipation of the new arrival.

I'm so stoked just had to share with guys who might just understand!
Life is good! I'll post pics when they arrive.

I wish I could afford two of everything. Congrats bro. Live large!!!!
Thanks man! I do feel very fortunate and cherish it greatly.
I do eat lots of ramen noodles and skip the starbucks coffee and reach for the instant so I guess I skimp in places where others won't and vice versa.

Those are nice weapons.... Been " eye-ing " those, especially interested in the trigger.... They are a sharp looking shooter, would love to hear your thoughts on the weapon,

As soon as I got home I swapped out the rear backstraps from medium to small grips.

Really liked how the Walthers felt in my hand with the mediums but I really like the small even more as I get a much fuller purchase with the small backstraps. The 5" is less than a few ounces heavier than the 4" and does not feel front heavy at all. The slots you see on the front of its slide is for lightening only.
It will be interesting to see how these two fair against each other in the months to come. I plan to shoot them quite a bit and use my Glock 34 with the pyramid trigger as a baseline.

PPQ M2 5" left and Glock 34 with pyramid trigger mod on right:

Really really good looking pistols you have there. Trigger is supposed but be really nice.

Thanks! My initial trigger review:
The trigger has a long takeup but its smooth and light. The wall is solid with very little creep, then the trigger breaks crisp like a glass rod. It has very little over travel.
I really like the reset of the trigger, I would say it beats (but just barely) my P226's short reset trigger as very little movement is needed. They say .1" movement is all that is needed and I believe it.

One observation - the trigger on the Walthers will return to its forward position even after releasing the striker, unlike the Glocks which will have their triggers remain in its most rearward position after firing.

Hope to shoot the 5" tomorrow morning!
