Does anybody have a source for a factory SCAR stock button? I would like to have a couple on hand because I know that it's a common failure but I don't really want to shell out the cash for two extra metal aftermarket ones.

You don't need to buy two metal after market ones. People on the "internet" say the OEM one's break but I beat the crap out of my button for over a year and it didn't failed. I purchased a metal aftermarket and the stock will break before the button even think about breaking. I'm happy I shelled out the money for the metal after market because it feels better. Just like I installed aftermarket charging handle from Stryker(AMAZING!!) and an aftermarket trigger and a aftermarket selector switch. If you can only afford one thing get the Stryker EACH charging handle. FN should seriously buy the patent from Stryker and make his design standard.

I already broke mine. And it honestly didn't take much, or what I would consider to be much. So I'd like to have a couple on hand.
I'm wondering the same thing.....How did it break? You shouldn't have to keep extra one's on hand, that's ridiculous.

Welp thanks to Stryker Ent. I'm getting mine taken care of, I didn't realize that I had the old button design and the new one supposedly won't break on me. I'll work on having FN replace the one I have and hopefully be able to call it good. I broke the old one falling on the rifle in a carbine class.
