Just shot this from my PS90 tonight at water jugs and recovered the bullet. Other than a little bend no expansion at all. The aluminum core did poke out the back a little, but I pushed it back in. The SS 197 blew up one milk jug and passed into another. The SS 195 went through two heavy laundry soap jugs and bounced off the milk jug.

On the Five Seven forum, I saw someone who posted tests on all the rounds. From what I remember, it said no expansion on that round. But, the round does "tumble", making a supposed larger cavity. But, it really shouldn't be called a "hollow point" then, in the traditional sense (despite the fact that it does have a hollow point :p )

It does not expand like normal hollow point pistol ammo.
I basically think it was made a hollow point so that it does not poke through more kelvar than it does.
You are correct, Sir!!

The hollow point keeps it from being classified as a full metal jacketed AP Round like the law enforcement only stuff. It will keep it from going through a level IIIA vest.

That's why the round is so perfect for my apartment gun.

It will do a nasty job with soft tissues, but harmless with a denser objects.

Brilliant!!!
