What exactly are the laws/restrictions regarding this ammo? I would like to buy some as a "just to have thing", but it's damn pricey and I don't want to attempt to buy it if it's illegal. I know the SS190 is 100% illegal for civilians, but I read about restrictions with SS192.

No ss192 is not restricted but(190,191,193 are) 192 was discontuned because of a leaded primer thats all in fact the leaded primer is only an issue at indoor ranges the only difference from 192 vs 195 that i have found is the primer and .5grams of powder the leaded primer extends shelf life i dont know why they droped the .5 grain on the charge i dont think it would not drop it more than 150-200fps. it is not at all classified as AP or restricted no steel core no low sound check you local laws before anything but as far as the BATF is concerned you are ok it is just like any other HP rifle ammo.....
