Does any LEO here use a regular (not SBR) PS90 as a patrol rifle? Just wondering...

I wish I could have. We started out with MP5's in my unit and then later switched to M4's. Our patrol rifles were mini 14's. A PS90 sure would have been nice.

Our Dept has just got 5 to supplement the M4s we already have. We are the 2nd department in the Dallas area that uses them.

I know you said not SBR but, from what I understand the Davidson Police right outside of Charlotte, NC all carry Five Sevens and everyone gets a P90 in their car.

I just officially recived permission to patol carry my personal PS90 (been doing it for for a few weeks already) yesterday. I had to make the rack and supply the lock. Worth it if you ask me. Im also on the SRT team as a sheild man and the FN 5.7 is now my sidearm and the PS90 is slung on my back.

Are yall going to host an armorer's course from FN? The one here in College Station was cancelled. I figure between your department and the ones in Denton Co there would be enough to get a class to make.

We already completed one last October. However, Ronnie Parker at FNH can use our range anytime to teach a class...University Park PD just did in a month ago.

I carry an SBR PS90 for duty and have a Gemtech G5 arriving tuesday for it. Using SS190 for standard and have SB193 on order for using with the Gemtech G5. Using Aimpoint COMPM3 and TLR-1 with a remote pressure switch.

I still use a AR15/M4 with a ACOG TA31DOC combo as my primary rifle though.

I use the PS90 for light carry, but for high risk calls I still go for the 69gr .223 match BTHP over the SS190.

I love my PS90, but it is not a "catch all" tool.
