What keeps the light from sliding forwards?
Surefire G2 Light Advice (My Experience)
I placed an order for my G2 Flashlight on the Surefire website. Two days later I went to Lowes for some stuff for my house and when I was in the checkout line what did I see but a whole bunch of Surefire G2 LED lights. I persuaded the wife to let me get another one.
Aaaanyway, long story short, I didn't receive the light I ordered direct from Surefire for TWO MORE WEEKS. That and I spent $24 more for the privilege of waiting that long ($20 shipping and $4 more than Lowes).
So if you're looking for a Surefire G2(L) or 6P(L), check your local Lowes, you might be able to save some time and money.

I did this mod and within a few hundred round had destroyed the bulb in my G2. Now I feel I need to get the LED bulb to make it work.
