Well, I should have one comming in the next week or two so I'll let everyone know if its worth it or not.
As some of you guys already know, I'm not a big fan of the X200a but I do like the X200b so well see how well the X300 goes.

OK, it arrived and all I can say is WOW IS THIS THING BRIGHT!
I never really cared too much for the X200 series. For the $$$ I didn't really think they were worth it.
But the X300 is about twice as bright as the X200 and it is worth every cent.
5 watt LED with 110 Lumens, this thing will light up the night :?
I plan to replace both of my Surefire X200s with X300s.
Now when the X300L comes out later in 2008, I think they might replace my TLR-2s :D

For those that don't know the difference between the X200a/b Series and X300 series
--------------
X200a - Long Range Projection Beam
3 Watt LED
60 Lumens

X200b - Close Range Flood Beam
5 Watt LED
100 Lumens (But it doesn't seem that much more than a regular 80 lumens LED)

X300 - Long/Close Range Beam
5 Watt LED
110 Lumens (seems much brighter than both X200a and X200b)

----
Aerospace-aluminum construction with Mil-Spec, Type III hard-anodized finish

Its the best quality pistol light I've seen (and I own a lot of them).
It also feels tougher than any of the others.
Looks and feels like you can cause a serious "blunt force trauma" with it
or be used to hammer in some nails :D
