I have heard some feedback on the abrasive grip texture on the FNX and was wondering if anyone is using Talon grips? I use Talon grips on two of my pistols (the rubber texture not sand paper) and they are awesome.

I had the rubber texture Talon grips on my FNX-40 and thought they were great too until they started to peel off prematurely. By prematurely I mean within two months of applying them while only shooting every other weekend. Don't know if it was the adhesive or what but they did stand behind their product and refunded my money.

Did you use the hairdryer method and really get them hot when applying them? I have had zero issues with mine, and have used them for well over a year.

I have a set of the rubbery ones on my FNX 40, have had them on their for about 2 years now. They are great and as thecatcha83 said, use the hairdryer method.

Yes I did, I watched all their videos and used my Milwaukee heat gun. I also made sure the surface was as clean as possible.
