Being a type A personality, waiting for people to work on or and/or customize firearms for a customer is like torture!

I've got two rifles being modified by two separate and well know shops. Both are taking much longer than they said they would to complete the projects. After paying so much money up front, it is difficult to wait for the finished product. Sure, it is exciting, too, but wow, waiting weeks and weeks and weeks is torture.

I guess I envy the guys with enough skill and enough tools to do their own gunsmith work.

Hell- when I send something off for refinishing or some other work - I can't wait either. I always call to check on the status, and I count the days on the calendar :x

Time is the price you pay for good gun work. If the guy can give quick turn around he probably isn't getting a lot of business- for a reason.
