I have a .308 SPR A-1, 24" barrel. I've had the factory trigger pull reduced to about 2.5lbs but I'd really like to get a two stage trigger. I'm shooting at 600 yds now but would like to go out to 1000. Strictly target shooting. I see multiple people have replaced with other triggers but talking to gunsmiths around here, they don't seem real familiar with adjustments that might be needed and I don't want just anyone working on the gun. Spoke with the folks a CG extreme and they said their trigger would work on a bolt but they didn't know if the bottom plate would interfere. Does anyone have any ideas/suggestions? Thanks

I can't help you with a two stage, but I put this in my A1 Winchester Model 70- WIN-1 - RIFLE BASIX

Very easy to install myself and it's tuned to about 1.8lbs.
