With the cease of SCAR 16 production in Belgium, I think it's safe to assume they will begin to be produced in the USA. I'm in the market to purchase a 16, but I'm wondering if I should just pick up a Belgian made one, or wait until production begins in the states and see if FN makes any changes/upgrades to the SCAR 16.

Obviously we don't have a crystal ball to see into the future, but maybe one of you have insights into the future of FN.

I think there is a used 16 for sale on the forum. I would not wait. November is coming and who knows if Senile Joe will sit in the big seat in January. I don't think Trump is going to get a second term, so expect another AWB on the table soon thereafter.

Biden and Whitmer! Must be some awfully good kool aid your sipping on! lol!!!!
Nope, just looking at the stupidity of a lot of voters and Bernie's leftist socialist. Trump has all but thrown in the towel because be does not know how to keep his mouth shut and can't keep his fingers off the Twitter keyboard. I dont think that he has the support that he had last time. He can't even claim he has drained the swamp. JMHO. Back to the OP, I would not wait.

My track record of political predictions is poor at best. But I am of the "better to regret something you have done, than to regret something you haven't done" school, so I'd get a 16 now.

I wouldn't expect any upgrades or changes...other than markings, that is.

I agree, if you’re in the market don’t delay and don’t look back.

I doubt they will produce the 16 in the US
I agree with the attack on the firearm Mfg.s here in the USA, i see many more Mfg.s just quit making Semi Auto rifles i have noticed a lot of firearm Mfg.s who have started making bolt action rifles.

If the Democrats get into the white house in 2020, i see them again trying to get all Semi Auto Rifels and their large Mag.s taken away from us, it's happening already with the large capacity Mags in some states.
