If you own the combo you'll soon find out as I did, the Leupy's power ring is a bear to turn when new, clearly needing some usage to loosen things up a bit. You'll also discover, a full 180* clockwise turn is required to go from 1x to 6x and this my friends, can be a knuckle buster. There isn't much clearance between the scope's power ring and the rail and the rail has teeth. If you wish to be a frequent donor to the Picatinny Flesh Collection Society, be the man or woman, then have at it. I like my knuckles and the skin that resides on them. I ordered some Ergo/Magpul ladder type rail covers and they arrived today, what a difference!. They make a fine finishing touch to the 12 o'clock rail too, keeping the slots free from junk and protecting the rail assignment numbers. I highly recommend you get some. We purchase the Stryker E.A.C.H. for the same reason, saving our knuckskin!
