Waiting for SCAR 17
Hello. New to the forum.
I have a FDE SCAR 16 topped with an ACOG and love it. Read a bunch of favorable reviews on the 17 and took the plunge. I am looking for a good 7.62 MBR. I have had an HK91, currently have a couple of FALs and an M1A. None seem to satisfy the itch.
My new SCAR should arrive either tomorrow or Monday. Can't wait!

Welcome! Start stocking up on ammo. Shooting the SCAR is like eating peanuts. Once you start it's hard to stop.

Welcome to the club. I own FDE SCAR 16S and 17S. The first upgrade you might think about is the Geissele Super SCAR trigger. The stock trigger pulls are quite heavy. My 17S broke @ 8.1 pounds.
