I've been thinking the same thing lately. There have been some good deals popping up lately. I may have to get a couple of plates (me and the mrs, and a couple of spares).

For those not wanting to spend a fortune on III or IV plates take a look at Protech Tactical HT or RT Plus plates. They're light and are really thin. Bought a few of these for me and the wife and although never tested (thank God), are really nice.
