I was doing the same thing the other day and found about 800 rounds of 22LR I had forgot about. I have a S&W 317 8 shot 22LR revolver but it's a real pain to keep clean, so I did the only thing I could think of and went out and bought a FN502 to shoot it up. It's so much fun though, now I need more ammo. .

As long as the ammo has been kept inside, out of the elements it should be fine to shoot.

Well if you're close to Colorado Springs I'd be happy to take the 317 off your hands to help you recoup the money spent on the 502.

That's so nice of you.😁 But that's the pistol I taught my son how to shoot with when he was 8. I wouldn't sell it for anything.
