I recently bought a ruger 10/22 50th anniversary rifle (11173) that comes with the threaded barrel. And have been doing some reading and I found that the threads on the rifle are longer than needed for my .22 sparrow (currently in NFA jail). I see that silencerco has a 1/2x28-1/2x28 thread adapter(silencerco.com)but to me the threads for it to mount on the barrel might be to short. Does anyone have any insight on this?

Are you sure your threads are too long?? I bought a new Ruger American 22LR with the threaded barrel, it didn't need a spacer for my Spectre II. Might want to measure first that they are longer than .400 before you look for a spacer.

I guess I'll just have to take the muzzle break off and see if it's .4 or .6. I ordered mine through silencershop and I still have probably another 30 to 60 days before my stamp comes back. Im just getting to eager
