Are you sure your threads are too long?? I bought a new Ruger American 22LR with the threaded barrel, it didn't need a spacer for my Spectre II. Might want to measure first that they are longer than .400 before you look for a spacer.

My 10/22 takedown with a factory threaded barrel definitely needed the spacer.
