is a state does not allow SBRs does this also mean that if you apply with the correct paperwork you still cant have one

I would almost bet that CA, MA, IL and NY State would not allow it - just based on the way they are with their gun laws...

IIRC this came up on another board and Alabama was one of the states that allows NFA items but does not allow SBR's and SBS's.

Check your state penal code for prohibited weapons. It will list what you can and can't have per state regs.

SBR is ok in MA. if your local Chief of Police is ok with it. Same goes for Machine Guns. BUT NO 30 ROUND MAGS FOR POST BAN RIFLES!! THEY ARE DANGEROUS!!!


But you only need to be 18 without any sort of licence to buy high cap mags or ammo in RI or NH.
