I saw a list on thefiringline that got me wondering about what "my" perfect collection would be.

If I had the money and space to have a large collection, mine might look something like this. Of course I would love to have a bunch of antiques and prototypes... but I was thinking more of a collection that I could shoot. I stopped at around 60 firearms, but it would probably take 100 to do a descent job of it. I had no idea I wanted so many things until I started listing them.

A funky old gun that I would get is the Borchardt(sp?) pistol which was precursor to the Broomhandle Mauser. Saw one at a gunshow for over $10,000.

I would also like to get a rifle/musket that was used during the Revolutionary War.

Well, I would want to have many many weapons.

Problem: Space

I really thought about the question, and came to the conclusion, that I would not take any civillian weapons. I would fully concentrate on military and LE only weapons. This would include Destructive Devices, Battleships, Tanks, Carriers, Submarines, Airplanes, Helicopters, and all that other fun stuff, as well as all the small arms.

Anyone know, if there is a country for sale?
