So I've only shot my Five-Seven a few times and I want to make sure that I'm properly oiling the thing. I've gotten it neurotically spotless. (The inside of the barrel shines). I put a drop of oil on the grooves in the slide rail and the contact points for the barrel. Do I need to put a drop in the center of the slide where the striking pin moves (with the little spring in the groove)? The manual doesn't seem to be that helpful. The more detail the better. I would really appreciate the help. Thanks.

I just put oil on(one time only) a small .22 patch. Just use that patch to wipe down everything metal. That is all the oil you should be using for the gun because you don't want too little and too much. Wipe it all down with that patch once you are done cleaning and thats it.
