For what? Are we talking precision bolt guns, pistol, plinking rounds for rifles?

For pistols, my 45 loads have turned out to be more accurate than factory, 9mm, not yet.

For plinking rifle rounds, I can make them for quite a bit less than what I can buy them, but it takes time.

For precision rifle, it's a wash for me right now. I have not been able to top 168 FGMM in my SPR A5m with my reloads (that stuff will shoot sub 1/4 moa when I do my part). Again, reloading is cheaper though.

It depends...... Mainly on if you have the time and equipment already.

It you have to buy from scratch, everything to get started reloading it's gonna take u a few thousand rounds to recover your start up costs.

I can reload plinking rounds cheaper than any factory ammo right now.

I can reload more accurate and cheaper hunting ammo for my 300 Wby and 308 Win anytime.

At one time I could even buy once fired brass, bulk bullets, powder and primers and reload cheaper than any bulk prices.
But ammo is coming back down now so it's a toss up.

djv38 have you tried 165 Gr Matchkings over 41 grs of Benchmark?

I'm going to start working up loads for 168 smk's with Benchmark, just finishing of some IMR 4064.
