Got the scope zeroed as best as I can now for the 17. Many divergent opinions on that and I selected 200 yards. The range I shoot at most is 300 yards max. I dont have a spot scope. That said, what distance should I be shooting groups to maximize my learning? In close I can see the holes, but its not all that difficultnto align the crosshairs and get feedback, and at longer ranges its more difficult but the feedback isnt quite there.

Knowing that I should shoot many ranges to plot out ammo drop, whats my best the just tighten groups or is it really all of them

Longer is better. Its harder to tell if you are doing well at 100m since even a really bad shot is relatively close. At 300 you can see all of your faults magnified. I'd say 300 is the way to go.
