What SIG P220 Elite would you get?
One in Stainless Steel with thick wood gips?

Or the Platinum edition one? Two tone, Stainless slide, black alloy frame, and aluminum thin grips?

Stainless, wood grips. Two tone doesn't really do it for me.

Wood grips on all the Sigs I have looked at are pretty thick and make the grip too fat for my hands.

The SIG "Elite" wood grips I put on the P229 do in fact make the grip much bigger. But the Hogue and Nil wood grips do not.

Thats why the aluminum grips feel better, the thin out the grip.

I can wait, I was planning on getting the Stainless Steel one.
I'd rather get it from my local dealer than gunbroker.
I've bought all my SIGs from him.

I like them too. They actually look better in person and the grip is thinner.
They are not a shiney chrome look either. More like the dull aluminum trim in BMW car interriors.

But it really doesn't matter since no P220 Elites are anywhere to be found (except gunbroker)....
