I came across this while checking out the FN FAL entry on wikipedia.

This has got to be one of the cleanest FAL's I've seen.

I actually joined this forum just so I could ask this question!

If anyone here has any info on who made/makes that specific FAL, links to more info, where I could get one like it, etc, I would be in your debt. I am dying to know more about it.

Thanks!!!

dont think it's any standard production thing.

fluted barrel, scope mount (without scope, lol), railed handguards.

you could assemble something close to it with the stuff from DSA, but the exact same thing? no clue, sorry.

I think DSA is probably the maker or supplier of most of the components. The SA58 PARA Extreme Duty Scope Mount appears to have their logo on it.

The handguards with rails are a little different but not enough to matter.

Aside from the issues of time and cost, I don't think this would be too difficult to cobble together. Getting one of the refinishing companies to put a bead blasted chrome finish on the same parts should be easy.

Thanks for the info

Interesting. Thanks for the help.

Did some looking on DSARMS site and I think the handguard on the one in the wikipedia page is this exact one: http://www.dsarms.com/prodinfo.asp?number=US021FASC

So you nailed it breakerdave, thanks.

If you guy's don't mind another newbie question, what type of barrel is that? Just a bull type barrel with no flash suppressor?

Again, thanks!

That's definitely a DSA scope mount.

And yeah, I don't see a muzzle device. The barrel looks like the fluted type that comes on DSA tactical models.
