I appreciate that but no, they are not the same cases. I have the standard 509 case.

AFAIK, the tactical case is loop lined and will accept hook lined accessory pouches ie; Velcro and is larger. Similar to the FNX-45 Tactical case. The standard 509 case is a bit on the small side, it does not hold much barely the 509 actually.
