A questions for the board experts.

I am trying to disassemble a FS2000 for cleaning. This rifle has the firing pin upgrade.

I have the rifle torn down with the exception of removing the firing pin from the bolt carrier/bolt.

I have depressed the "firing pin plunger" as stated in the "addendum" to the manual, but get no movement on the "plunger" and the firing pin is not released.

I figured that I should get a slight amount of downward movement when I lift the bolt aligning lever which should depress the "plunger".

I am probably doing something dumb.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Got it out!!

During my 3 mile speed walk at the gym, I figured out that there was no way it be possible to "depress the firing pin plunger" to release the pin.

I lifted the firing pin plunger slightly and the firing pin came out.

So much for a clearly worded "addendum" for the spring loaded firing pin.:-D

Thanks,
