These guns look nice except for the muzzle gizmo and are very popular however lately there have been many reported issues by long term users of the bolt & carrier and even the receiver being made from soft metal and parts squashing to pieces and bending!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sadly even though made by Zastava these are a Fail!
Say What? Links to this? I hit all the major AK forums, and have not read about long term reliability issues. FX hummel put 4000 rounds in one training session through his M92 PAP that had bolt carrier issues already, and ran fine through the class. It has a threaded protector on them. Cut the weld and be done.
Canted sights are always a possibility on any AK. As far as the mushrooming on the rear of the BCG, very common. The guy referencing receiver issues mentions O and N PAPs, not M92 and M85 PAP pistols..
