I love the look of it, and the idea of an aluminum lower. But they missed the mark big time with the price. I can buy 3-4 plastic replacement lowers from FN for that price. If they can make aluminum AR lowers and sell them all day long for $40-$60, these shouldn’t cost more then $100. I might MAYBE drop $150. But not a dime over that.

Yeah the price is insane...its not like the SCAR SR25 lowers where you gain something.

They should really make this into $129.99 ... having the pistol grip compatibility is a non issue ... PMM remedies that easily or just buy a TangoDown grip that is compatible.

But like I stated...there is nothing wrong with the factory lower.

I just picked up a Scar 16 a little over 2 weeks ago. The prices of the parts is just absurd to me. I have built a few high end ARs and I'm still shocked. The lowers are really no different from regular ARs aside from the different shapes. Considering they don't have to be serialized, it should be even easier. It can not possibly take that much more to manufacture a piece of aluminum. They're price gouging because we own expensive rifles and clearly it works haha.

Building a HK416 is even worse. It’s almost 200 for an original HK buffer tube
