Alright fellas I am going to need your help with this, I have been thinking about this forever and am still confused.
I own a colt LE6940 M4 which is a .223 rifle. What I want to understand is how a person is able to take an AR-15 and convert it into a different caliber. I want to take my Colt and be able to swap between a .223 caliber and a .308 caliber. So how do I do that?
I understand that I have my Colt upper and its lower, what I am curious is can I buy just a new upper and keep the lower intact without any modification(s)? or does the lower have to be modified too?
