So I bought a Leupold DPP for my 509, went to mount it and everything is there except for the screws. Searched the internet and the only place that sells them appears to be Midwest Gunworks, and they are out of stock. Emailed FN directly and they said they do not sell direct to consumer, check with Midwest Gunworks. Does anyone know of any other option to find these screws? or somebody with a rmr or other optic want to get rid of their screws?

Hmmm... what specific model of 509 do you have? I bought a Leupold DPP from Amazon for my FN509T. The screws and plate you need to use to mount it came inside a big, vac-sealed packet of various combinations of screws and plates to fit a wide variety of optics. If you have one of the "tactical" models, that should have been included with your gun. If you don't have a "tactical" model, the slide on you gun likely isn't set up to use FN's proprietary system, and all bets are off--lest you purchase something like the APEX long slide.

That's what I'm trying to find is the screws that came with the 509T, somehow I have all the different plates and screws except the ones for the DPP, they have been lost or misplaced. I'm trying to find them for sale but FN will not sell them and Midwest is out of stock. Trying to find a alternative source for them.
