i have not seen one, but even the best rated optics can fail, and it doesn't have to be on a scar...so whatever you choose should have a lifetime warranty if you're paying bucks up for an optic.

 

Number 1 thing is a good mount, whether rings or a 1 piece. Don't cheap out there and most good scopes will do you fine.

 

No list of optics that I know of. Like jaflowers said. Get a good mount. I've read that cantilever mounts are not recommend for the SCAR. Only one mount is approved by SOCOM for the SCAR- ADM Delta. Also, tuning your gas system will help minimize optic shock.

Just echoing what everyone has said, it is the mount that matters.

For red dots, stay away from the old 512s, my died after a couple hundred rounds. The newer Eotechs are good to go.
