I really don't know. It was a topic of conversation when we decided to put it on the stock. We both agreed the flag should be facing foward, towards it's intended target (engaging) Vs. away from the target (in retreat). Just my option. Any insight would be appreciated.

What I do know, when I hold the PS90 in a left handed shooting stance the flag lies on top of my heart.

Your flag is fine the way it is. If it's on a wall or on say a hat, it's the way you have it. On a shoulder patch it is backwards, supposedly 'flowing like an advancing battle standard'.

That's hot! I'd like to have an ATACS pattern done on my Scar 17. I just don't know what finish is the most durable. I don't want stuff flaking off.

 

The Hydro Dip will not flake off if it's properly done. However the clear coat may be prone to chipping or scratching. I'm not sure what kind of clear coat is used. I was told not shoot the rifle for another two weeks. Dave wanted the clear coat to fully cure. Its a pretty hard clear coat, I accidentally dropped mine PS90 on a hard marble floor and nothing happened.
