The boot on my stock seems to have a chunk missing out of it. This is a $3k rifle and I am furious! IS THIS NORMAL??????????????????????????????????????????????

Also wondering if the Elcan Specter DR 1-4 or 1.5-6 would better compliment the Koala-suede better. I just can't make up my mind!

And what's the word on replacement soles? They seem to be impossible to find, and ridiculously overpriced when they turn up. I think I might just scrap this rifle and go back to H&K - at least their stocks are made by Nike!
