So all that stuff about how FN discontinued the Gen 1 FS2000 packs and no more sales of some packs to civilians was all wrong? It seems fishy to me. Kinda makes me wonder if a C3 isn't doing some naughty stuff.

One last time. The packs are new. They were ordered from FN parts. That's the way they were made by FN.

Yep, they've been posted on here, photos and questions. People on here who actually know provided the answers. We have several good sources on here to check your information with, they are not hard to find.

Hell FN even has a toll free number you can use, why not give that a try?

FN does not distinguish between generations of PS90 hammer packs. To them a hammer pack is a hammer pack. The only thing they distinguish is a PS90 pack from a P90 pack for obvious reasons. Like JHS said, give them a call and find out for yourself or would that ruin all the drama for you? :-D

If you can buy something from FN for $46-65 and sell it on Gunbroker for several hundred, why not?

As long as people are lazy and don't do their homework there is a profit to be make there.

The bottom will fall out soon just as it did with the SS198. When it first hit Gunbroker it sold for $125-150 a box. Some people are just stupid that way.

Frank, dude get a life. How many times do you need to be told the same thing? JHS & company have been more than patient up to this point. One last time, ALL of the hammer packs do the same thing in a PS-90 or FS-2000 one trigger pull one bang regardless of the color of the parts. There is no forum conspiracy.

If you will not take the word of Sarge or JHS who, to the best of my knowledge, are two of the most knowledgable sources on these firearms the rest of us are at a loss to help you.

Try placing random orders at FN, MGW and others and see what shows up if this is just driving you nuts. I have done so over the past 2-3 months and received gen 3 (gray hammer) and gen 4 (no sear) packs for my 90's. As well as an all white no sear pack for my FS's and the new multi-color pack.

Yep.... I'm sure I will be down there in the trenches grubbing for a buck with the best of them. Funny thing is that I have yet to see any good evidence outside statements here by a few select users that these new variety of packs are available to the common man. When I start seeing these being shipped on any kind of regular basis to regular people I will happily recant all this. Until then I'm gonna remain very wary of buying any of this stuff from anyone on the secondary market. Particularly when they are being offered by people who are selling parts that are typically unavailable and have no use to anyone outside of a very very small number of SOTs. It smells a lot like something the BATFE either is or soon will be involved in.

The amount of vitriol from some members is rather surprising however at the end of the day it doesn't really matter. I have got mine and I only bring the subject up to clarify things from an academic point of view and perhaps to save others a few bucks before they buy what seems, to me, to be a rather questionable collection of parts.
