Never mind. You are being zero help. I copy and pasted directly from the sticky, and it clearly says semi.sear for gen1 and 2. Im new to a ps90 and would love answers for help, but nevermind.
Page 1 post 1, all the parts are posted in a photo and named. How much more help do you need?

And this is copied direct from the sticky
Gen 1: Black pack body, black hammer, OD green semi sear, auto sear present.
Gen 2: Gray pack body, black hammer, OD green or gray semi sear, auto sear present.
Gen 3: Gray pack body, gray or white hammer, gray sear, auto sear present.
Gen 4: Gray pack body, black, gray, or white hammer, gray sear, no auto sear. (As JHS mentioned, the hammer in a Gen 4 may actually be black but the defining characteristic is that there is no auto sear.)

Am i blind or does it say semi sear on both gen 1 and gen 2????????? According to you it does not.

These are the sears and the names:

A) Auto Sear
B) Hammer
C-Front Sear.
D-Rear Sear

The only one not listed is the safety sear which is the metal tab in the rear of the pack.

The correct the sticky, cause it obviously says semi sear in what i pasted. You seem to want to correct and tell me im.wrong, rather than address why it says semi sear for gen 1 and 2 in the description i copied. Thats all i asked is why it says semi sear there.

All the PS90 packs are semi-auto. I thought you were wanting to know why the Gen 1 was worth so much more than a Gen 3.

All the packs have the front sear.

I will vouch for the confusion. I too am a new PS 90 owner, and when I read MP-Ohio's post, he is completely inconsistent in referenceing the sear parts.

In the very first pic with the parts denoted as A), B), C), D), he calls part A) an "Auto Sear" and he calls part C) a "Front Sear".

In the numbered descriptions below when he describes the Gen I -IV parts, he completely renames the sears.
He completely disregards the names he established in A), B), C), and D), and talks about a "semi sear" which is not described in the pic he included.

I became very confused by this inconsistency and still am unsure what the "semi sear" is.

Is the "semi sear" part A), the Auto Sear?
Or is the "semi sear" part C), the Front Sear?

I am not a gunsmith, but thinking mechanically, I assume MP-Ohio means the "semi-sear" is part C), the Front Sear.

If my assumption is correct, all reference to "semi sear" needs to be corrected into Front Sear as established as the convention in the pic.
Or conversely, in his part A), B), C), and D) descriptions, he needs to change "Front Sear" into "Semi Sear" so that it is consistent with his Gen I-IV descriptions that follow.

Thanks, this clears up everything, and confirms my assumption.

Why did he change the name of "Front sear" into "Semi Sear"?
This caused confusion to me too when I was trying to follow the Gen I-IV descriptions.
thanks....at least im not the only one. I was made to look like im a idiot for asking questions in a inconsistent written sticky.

At first, I was in the very same boat you were in. I read the sticky several times over but could not grasp why I did not understand the sears they were describing.
Then you hit it right on he head and I finally understood why I was not getting it: the changing of the sear names was what was throwing me off.

I think that was done to walk a very 'fine' line that exists and the reason FN made a change to eliminate the 'front' sear because the BAT boys said something....................... Thus the GEN 4 pack which eliminates the 'auto' sear and gives you the hammer from the GEN 3.

All the packs have a front sear.
Yeah, looking at what it does while I was cleaning it, the front sear is a critical piece to the function and safety of the rifle.
Without the front sear, there would be a lot of slam fire with high possibility of a shell going off out of battery and/or the possibility of a full-auto runaway of consecutive slam firings.
